Halal status is information, not a guarantee

Each listing shows what public sources and the community say, and names the source. Restaurants change suppliers, menus and owners. We are not a halal certification body. If halal status matters to you, confirm it with the restaurant before you eat.

Listings

Names, addresses and details come from public sources and may be out of date. We are not affiliated with the places listed unless we say so. Owners can ask us to fix or remove a listing for free.

Votes and rankings

Rankings come only from Yums, one per person per place. Nobody can pay for a higher rank, a better label or the removal of a fair review. We may remove votes or posts that break these rules, such as owners voting for their own place, fake accounts or coordinated voting.

What you send us

When you send a suggestion, comment or report, you confirm it is honest and your own, and you let us use it to improve and display listings. Comments are reviewed before they appear. We do not publish hateful, abusive, false or private information.

No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Halal Jawn is not liable for losses from using it or relying on its information.
